(no subject)
For the life of me, I could NOT get to sleep last night. So I used my excess energy to clear the kitchen so Frank could paint. I also got all but a couple dishes and pans done (trust me, a major feat). Frank finished the ceiling; it looks magnificent. He said he'd never seen the kitchen so uncluttered (during my time here, that is). He didn't even need to move the table or anything, so he let me sleep. We had a long talk about stuff and about things he wants to do around the house. He had some rounded beams and marked off the garden area with them. He's going to put some more on the other side of the yard for me to plant some flowers and herbs.
Watched more Claymore. Priscilla awakened. Freakin' awesome, man!
Went to the grocery, then to Dollar Tree where I'm buying 3-liter bottles of soda for a buck. It's almost as good as Pepsi, better than Coke or RC. Still no Pepsi Throwback. I'm starting to get pissed off about this limited time, limited availability bullshit. Also got a five...five dollar...five dollar foot loooooong.
Fringe was completely awesome. I figured out the big Peter surprise (sounds dirty, but it isn't) before they showed it. Leonard Nimoy!!! And that last image. Fringe this fall is going to be off the hook.
And, gee, the Cubs won while the Cards lost. The Cubs have had a rough month. After a good start, injuries to key players precipitated a nasty skid. Even so, they are only 1.5 games back. It's hard for me to watch an entire game anymore. I get too antsy.
I'm going back on people's journals to catch up with my friends. I finished the B's. This will take a while. Man, people have lost jobs, moved across the country, had babies, lost loved ones...I really missed a lot.
