Tonight, I work my first overnight shift.
I was hired to be full-time overnight. I know it will take some time to adjust. However, the overnight shift has some perks... more down time. This means less interaction, but I think it will help ease me in. I have never done this kind of work before. I am so glad for this opportunity. So far, I really enjoy it. I've been to training and I've been at my house (in Lancaster) a few times. The people who live there are manageable, for the most part. One recently passed away, however, before I got there. So soon, we will have one more in the house. I can't wait to see how it works out.
I hope I can stay up tonight! I mean, I tried to nap during the day but it was difficult. I am drinking a buttload of coffee tonight to get me through.
