Harry Potter!

Well, overall, I really enjoyed it. I was determined to get it all read ASAP. At some points, I wanted to set it down so that I could take it all in, but I couldn't rest and so just continued reading it. The middle got pretty boring and stuff, but it was still a great read.

The whole book had a whole different feel to it, and that took some getting used to. I mean, Voldemort comes after Harry in the 3rd chapter! Every few days it seemed that the Death Eaters were attacking and Harry narrowly escaped. At least it was exciting though.

There were so many things that I feel I KNEW were going to happen. Like that R.A.B. was Regulus, and Snape was a good guy after all, and other little things. I'm so glad Snape was good. And the whole Lily thing... wow. I was not really expecting that. It really made me look at him in a different light. I loved that chapter, The Prince's Tail. It's interesting that Lily lived near Snape in Spinner's End when she was a kid. One thing, though, that I'm not sure about now that I think about it... did Snape love Lily, or were they simply best friends? I'm not completely sure that love is the answer. It probably is, but I mean, it sucks to love someone who is married and has a kid... and then defend their son for 16 years. I don't know. But I officially love Snape.

I'm so glad Harry defeated Voldemort in the end... but I was absolutely hysterical when Harry 'died'. I don't know if I've ever cried that much from a book or movie... it was intense.

But then the ending, while nice, seemed sort of anti-climactic. I don't know. I am satisfied with it though. Except, the epilogue was reallllllly cheesy lol.

I started reading it a second time earlier today, but this time it will be slower, obviously. I was so eager to read it the first time, and I don't regret that. But I love rereading :)

Ahhh I don't know what else to say. But I loved it. But... I'm sad that it's over. Oh well. I can always reread the whole series, right? ;P
