“Uh, no, not while we were shopping. Duh, Andy. What are you, a guy?” Cassidy poked at her stepmother, but still the jibe carried some weight.
“What? What did I do now?” she was truly dumbfounded.
“Andy, you dumped her here, remember? I still can’t believe you wanted to come to Paris for Christmas. It seems a little, well, mean to me,” Caroline was always quick to defend her mother’s position.Well duh of course Miranda’s sad because they stood right in front of the fountain that Andy threw her away at. (sigh) I can’t believe Andy made it such a trivial thing. I hope she can make it up to Miranda. Though I do have to admit that I love Cassidy’s statement.

we’re an old married couple. That was a wonderful statement. Because they really are. The rest of it was hilarious but that was so sweet and touching and so very true. (smile)

Miranda looked around the room and settled her gaze upon Andy. “No,” she smiled. “I have you. That’s everything I need. That’s all.” That is sweetness and perfectly romantic!

Miranda’s declaration and Andy’s explanation were perfect. I really can’t express how much I’ve enjoyed reading this story. I don’t want it to be over. I don’t want to click to read the Epilogue, but it’s really early in the morning and I have work to do in a few hours so I will read it and be happy about having read the story and its wonderfully weaved tale.
