1. it actually rained today for approximately 5 minutes and it was the highlight of the day. i cheered aloud.
2. did you know cord and finch closed down??? V. v. tragic, but they had already taken my favourite dessert there off the menu anyway.
3. i was considering the whole 'pick 3 people to be stuck on a desert island' question and the thing is that there are a lot of smart answers to that question, so i think a better question would be 'pick 3 famous people to be stuck on a desert island for the rest of your life with' and i'm really assuming that the desert island in question is more like Lost, not in the creepy smoke monsters and polar bears way but in the mysterious helicopters drop off cornflakes and mayonnaise regularly and hot running water available way. Aaand i would pick. Stephen Fry, because i think he's interesting. Jamie Oliver, to do the cooking. And hrmm i'm not sure who to pick for the third person, though it occurs to me that picking someone my age would ensure that i don't spend the last thirty odd years of my life alone. Who would YOU pick?
