Was talking to people over dinner about cravings, and one poor sad classmate noted that he didn't get cravings (?!??) which is ABSOLUTELY shocking to me. How can you not ever have craved something? He talked about eating just to not be hungry... which i get, i mean, most of the time you're eating school canteen food which is hardly appetising, but surely there are other things you eat that make you happy? It doesn't have to be ridiculously expensive food, i mean i got transcendently happy over waking up the other day to find that my brother had bought my favourite brand of orange juice (well ok it's a liiittle expensive for orange juice) or eating peanut butter with snow pears or something. Hrmm, but honestly right now what i reaally really want to eat is that blowtorched sushi with a tiny blob of ginger on it from that sushi place at international plaza... or the pan fried glazed salmon from aji by hanabi... Probably not going to get either any time soon, but still thinking about it, mmm. And yesterday it was a mad craving for brekkie - scrambled eggs, or waffles... Erm, anyway i'm not sure if this post had a point in the first place. Beyond possibly making you hungry.
