whoa. Robert Jordan is dead. I know it's terrible of me, but the first thing that came to mind was that now we'll NEVER know how the books ended. >_<
6 years since i picked up the Eye of the World.
17 years since it was written.

I stopped reading him after book 7. I rapidly realized that this story would NEVER END.
I was right.
Anyway, looks like the final book will probably be finished and published from his notes. The WoT series is epic, man - there are probably people who've been waiting seventeen years to find out if Rand lives or dies - Harry Potter had nothing on him. Maybe before it's out i'll go back and reread through the whole series again, hmm? Or, actually, look! Chapter summaries. Maybe not then. ^^
