Beth ran from Mick’s apartment as fast as she could, hurrying out of the building and down the street, tears streaming down her face. She didn’t know how long she ran but eventually she fell to her knees, air burning her lungs as she took in mouthfuls through the panting and sobbing.
She had just seen red when Coraline sauntered down Mick’s stairs, hair wet, clad in his shirt. All she could think of was hurting this ‘woman’ who had kidnapped her and ruined Mick’s life…
