"its like poking through gellatin"

So today I bit the bullet as they say and went to the doc's to see what exactly is wrong with my innards....

The walk in clinic guy was HILARIOUS.  All giggly and nice.  He asked what I was doing there because I looked healthy and happy so I told him the doom and gloom my stomach brings me.  So he agreed testing is the way to go.

"What you need is blood work - so let me see..."
"Can you just tick every box?"
"What?  Everything?  STDS, Diabetes - everything?!"
"Why not?!  Its been a while since I've had a once over - lets see if I could be an astronaut with my clean bill of health!"  and I smile in the way that gets me what I want.
"Well alrighty missy!"  *checks all the boxes*  "You know, thats what I wanted to be - a space cadet - a good old fashion astronaut!"

I'm thinking to myself - with the way you have been laughing and acting, I'd say youre already there Mister Doctor Guy.  SO I smiled and said its their loss - oh and that he should go to NASA summer camp for adults.  I think I like this new clinic around the corner :)

So little did I know that each box was another vile of blood that needed to be taken.  15 lil blood filled containers later....  I remembered all too late that I had to do this for my cruiseship job years ago and how unimpressed I was with getting a once over.  Gah.  Oh well, 2 weeks and I will know everything!  I sure hope I'm not Veronica Mars and wake up to find I have had the clap for years without even knowing it.  Highly unlikely for those keeping track.

ANYWAY!

I'm working with Laura W to try and get one of her fantastic plays off the ground at Hoarbourfront centre but we still need a name for our company.  She wants "Two Red Heads and a Jew"  (because theres us and then our friend Erez) and I said how about "Davids Red Stars" which just wasn't as catchy and really convoluted at best.
So if you got any great ideas lemme know.  Its stalling the application process.

Back to scheduling and reading about 1851 (oh new job)
