Died for the last time

Hamlet is dead and so is my energy. After a crazy schedule to pull off 2 school shows and an opening night public performance on friday I was tapped by sats closing. Fortunately no one noticed my fuck ups and the night went by with roaring applause...

I think I may have a dendency to be a lil Uta.... every performance I would draw in Ophelia's sketch book while I waited for my first cue.... My mom gave me a present that was wrapped in daisy covering, and josh bought me martini's to "drown" in - which I did and it was loverly.

I love Ophelia, since god knows when. I own many Ophelia paints and prints and even plays about her. I figured out why while playing her - shes the girl most every teenager lives through (when Ophy could not live through her turmoil) I think thats why I liked her so much - the drama, the unrequited loved that I felt too, the unnecessary drama created for herself - but now, Ophy was a bit of a lunch bag let down. I have had more fun playing other characters and look forward to playing Kat or Quen Marggie in R3. Ophelia was tiring, depressing and really hard to pull off. I also think that she goes unnoticed as a whole in that play. Which is funny because thats what actually happens to her.... Sad.

I feel like I need a Daniel Day Lewis day - but I won't get that for a while. Just a day to revamp - sleep - sing - veg. But not today. *yawn*
