Starbucks assimilation
So today was my 5+ hours of training at an office in mel lastmans square... So high on coffee samples right now but more importantly one of the other "partners" (not employees, starbucks doesn't use that word they consider it dirty) was an old castmate of mine from Cookstown - a town, hamlet rather, outside of Aliston Ontario which is abuot an hour south west of barrie/alcona where I used to live.
So Jen La Forge is there all cute and bubbly and I'm thinking I know this girl but where from?! Sure enough another castmate of Anne of Green Gales resurfaces in my life. What does this mean? This is the 3rd one (4th if you count the fact that I heard about one of the cast memebrs passing in the past year) that has just "bumped" into my life path. Strange. I know I know its not like I'm bumping into them in Japan or something- I mean its still Ontario - but we were up in butt-fuck-idaho and GTA is very, well, not farmland hickville where everyone knows everyone.
So yes I'm saying its weird. And yes, I'm the weird one that reads into everything that happens to them...
Besides that life is grand and I am trying out for a "real" job at the LAC in the Saug. It would be Program Coordinator, which is something I have done for Hamilton Urban Theatre and Rumball Music Studios several times. I just wonder if a 30k something job could ever go to a recent undergrad like myself.
