Life in general

So I got a new job! Ya. Like I need another one!?  that puts me at 5, if you count the acting that comes and goes and just as often pays...

its here: http://www.davidstea.com/

*drool*
This place is made for me! I think I will marry said David as we clearly have so much in common like our obsession with tea and clean lines with bright awesome photography....

anyway.  I dropped off my resume at around 1 thinking, well whats the worst that could happen? I was in my pirate shirt and shorts and thinking - uh, not the best attire to make a first impression but I was already out on errands... They called me 5 times while I had the phone on silent for a movie (go see the Hangover its GOLD!!) I guess I had their attention.  My interview was that night at 7 pm and it wasn't so much an interview as it was a "so when can you come in?" - seriously? After all the training manuals and talk about the company I tried to insert my "love me" part of the interview - it was not needed, they barely listened to me because she replied "you are already coming in - we like you - let's just get you in and we can hear all about you then!"  whoa. what did I put on my resume?! I was thinking it would be the normal turn over for jobs - wait a week or so - don't call them we call you - when I was in dropping off my resume another girl had just dropped hers off as I was walking in! She added mine to a stack of them on the counter! So. Apparently the tea gods said "NO TAKE THIS ONE" because dang, I love this place already *crosses fingers and touches wood that its as awesome working there as it is sipping this delightful pu'erh dark blend!)

So I start tomorrow. yep. Opening a new show and starting a new job all in a couple days. Sweet.

Oh ya see my show:

Since I lost about a week of rehearsals I feel I am always trying to catch up with my co-star on lines - lets hope I'm all caught up by the time we open in a mere matter of days :P

Anyone else seeing some fringe? I HAVE TO SEE RED BASTARD! so much so I'm buying advanced tickets - I have never done that for a Fringe show before - but he is an excellent bouffon from NYC and hes never up here!  SEE HIM - in fact come with: July 7th at 10:45 pm :)

Other than that I want a Science Party after I get my nights/life back on the 13th... and a bitch'n'switch party is needed - although Christine did make off my too big for me shoes last night that was surely going to be a crowd pleaser at the switch... ladies start sorting!!

tea!, joe-jobs, training, acting stuff, fringe
