brightly shining in all its glory
i knew i wanted to hold it
eagerly
i stretched out my arm
as my fingers brushed the surface
i saw a perfect world
free of pain and loss
but then my fingers slipped
and i looked around
realizing it was just a dream
this is the world i live in
i must accept it

Life is suffering
The origin of suffering is attachment
The cessation of suffering is attainable
The way is the eightfold path
