Summary: Sarah's gone and Morgan thinks Chuck needs to get laid. And Morgan... well, he's like a dog with a bone sometimes. While Casey - he has his own ideas.

Waking up for the fifth time that night, Chuck cracked his eyes open to look at the clock… 05:28. Great. The alarm would be going off in thirty two minutes. There was no point in trying to get back to sleep now. Instead, he reached over and turned the alarm off before turning and snuggling up against Casey.

Casey grunted slightly and wrapped his arms around Chuck tight. Other than that, he showed no other signs of waking up, which of course wouldn’t do at all.

Gently stroking his fingers up and down Casey’s back, Chuck leaned forward and began to kiss his way up Casey’s neck, nibbling on his ear for a moment before trailing more kisses along his jaw. But the time he’d reached Casey’s mouth, he was now wide awake and returning Chuck’s kiss with a fiery passion, rolling on top of Chuck to pin him to the bed. When he pilled back from the kiss, he smiled down at him.

“Morning,” he said softly.

Chuck pushed up and kissed him again, “Morning,” he said back.

“So, not that I’m not complaining, but what’s with the early wake up call?”

Chuck shrugged, “I couldn’t sleep.”

“Nervous?” Casey asked, frowning slightly.

“I guess,” Chuck nodded, “That and it’ll be weird without you there.”

“Walker will be there,” Casey said as he manoeuvred himself into a more comfortable position, which involved lying between Chuck’s legs, his arms settled either side of him, “You’ve worked with her before, so it shouldn’t feel completely weird.”

“I know,” Chuck said with a sigh.

“Besides,” Casey said as he started to slide down Chuck’s body, “If I was there, I doubt very much that either of us would get any work done.”

Chuck was about to agree to that but found he couldn’t as Casey’s mouth encased him, preventing his brain from performing any kind of normal function.

Casey took his time, slowly pleasuring Chuck until his cock was throbbing in his mouth, begging for some extra friction. But Casey was in a playful mood this morning and so refused to rush things. Chuck however, wasn’t in the mood for being teased at all, and so used his newly developed muscles to flip Casey onto his back, straddling his chest and thrusting his cock into his mouth hard.

Thankful for fast reaction times and a very low gag reflex, Casey sucked on Chuck as hard as he could, wrapping his hands around his ass and encouraging him to move.

Chuck really didn’t need much persuasion and so within minutes, had fucked Casey’s mouth so hard and fast that he couldn’t stop himself from emptying his cock into his throat.

Gently stroking Chuck’s ass and thighs, Casey made sure to swallow everything down before letting go of him and allowing him to collapse on top of him.

After a few minutes of silence, Chuck finally pushed himself up, “You okay?” he asked.

Casey just nodded, a dopey smile on his face as his hands continued to wander, a finger slipping between Chuck’s butt cheeks and skimming over his opening.

Chuck shivered at the touch, his half hard cock twitching in anticipation. Thankfully, he didn’t have to wait long as Casey soon handed him the half used bottle of lubricant at him. Knowing what he had to do, Chuck began to prepare himself as Casey slicked up his own cock, and then he was pushing back, slowly but surely lowering himself onto Casey’s thick cock.

They moaned together as Casey skipped inside him, both relishing in the feeling of their joining. Smiling, Chuck leaned down and kissed Casey softly before he began to move.

As with the blow job, their fucking was frantic, both of them eager to reach their climax as soon as possible. In fact, Casey was so desperate to come and come quickly, that he soon flipped Chuck onto his back before proceeding to pummel into him.

Chuck moaned rather indecently as Casey punished his prostate, before his body shook with a second orgasm, Casey joining him at the same time.

As he emptied himself into Chuck, Casey collapsed on top of him, burying his face in his shoulder, breathing in his scent and placing the softest of kisses in the crook of his neck.

“Hey, Big Guy,” Chuck said after a few minutes, stroking a gentle hand up and down Casey’s back, “I need to get up.”

“No,” Casey mumbled.

“John, come on. I have to get ready for work.”

“I’ve changed my mind. I don’t want you to go,” Casey said as he pulled back to look at him, “Stay here, with me.”

Chuck groaned, “You have no idea how much I want to. But you know I can’t.”

Casey sighed and rolled off him, “Yeah I know,” he said quietly.

Chuck turned to look at him, leaning down to place a soft kiss on his shoulders, “I’m only going to be gone until six. I’ll be home after that and then we can have dinner and curl up on the couch,” he told him, “And if I’m not mistaken, I do believe NCIS is on tonight - your favourite.”

Casey rolled his eyes. Chuck knew how much he hated that show. It was just so unrealistic that it really frustrated him.

“I am not watching that show,” Casey told him.

Chuck grinned and leaned down to capture Casey’s lips in one last kiss, “Well I guess you’ll need to think of something more exciting for us to do instead.”

“Guess I will,” Casey smiled before lying back down to watch Chuck get ready.

As Chuck made his way into the building, he made sure to his ID on show, while trying not to fiddle with his tie too much. It was a bad habit that he’d had ever since he’d joined the Nerd Herd, something that numerous people had pointed out to him time and time again.

Showing his ID to the security guard, he gave him a small nod before making his way towards the elevator, cringing slightly as his shoes squeaked on the shiny floors. He had wanted to wear his sneakers, but Casey had persuaded him not to, to at least wait until he had been there a few days before he started to rebel.

Thankfully though, before he could become too embarrassed about his squeaky shoes, the elevator arrived.

The building he was in was just a normal office building, six storeys high and containing (what he assumed were) a couple of false companies. For security reasons, he doubted very much they would be sharing a building with civilians.

As the elevator doors sprung open, he was greeted with yet another security desk with two ‘guards’ sitting there (probably one from the NSA and one from the CIA). He quickly signed in, letting them scan him. Of course he had his gun on him, but they weren’t looking for weapons, they were looking for bugs. Not finding any on him, they let him pass through the door behind them.

The room he stepped into contained eight desks, positioned in pairs, each desk facing another. There were already a few people sitting at them, all of them looking up to have a good look at him as the door swung shut behind him. To the left of the room was a large office with two desks in it and a large conference room next door to it. To the right there was darkened room that looked like it may be an AV lab, with two doors next to it labelled ‘bathroom’ and ‘kitchen’.

“Agent Bartowski, it’s nice to see you again.”

Chuck turned to see Sarah standing there with another blonde woman, “Yeah well…” he trailed off, shrugging and not really knowing what else to say to her.

“Chuck this is…”

“Charles,” he corrected her, “My name is Charles.”

Sarah looked like she’d been slapped, but didn’t reply, instead continuing with what she was saying, “This is Agent Alex Forrest,” she told him, “My NSA counterpart and as such, she will be your direct line manager.”

Chuck nodded, holding out his hand to shake hers, “It’s a pleasure,” he told her.

“Not at all, the pleasure’s mine,” she said with a smile, “I hear you were trained by Major Casey. How was he?”

Chuck was sure he was blushing, but did his best to ignore it as he answered her, “Thorough,” he told her with a slightly squeaky voice.

“Good to know,” she said.

“We’re still waiting for a couple of people to arrive,” Sarah said, “In the meantime, why don’t you get settled at your desk.”

Chuck turned and looked at the desks, trying to figure out which one was his.

“Second on the left,” Sarah told him with a slight smile, “Opposite Agent Manesh.”

“Right,” he nodded, spotting Agent Manesh. She was a rather petite woman of Asian descent and looked utterly harmless, which of course meant that she was probably deadly, “Thanks.”

Chuck was in the kitchen, helping himself to a coffee when Sarah walked in.

“Hey,” she said as she grabbed herself a mug so she too could have some coffee, “How are you finding it?”

Chuck shrugged, “Fine,” he said.

They had returned from Casey’s parents in the evening, had had a bath and had stayed up later than they should have making love. And of course, then Chuck had kept waking up due to his nervousness about today. He shouldn’t have been nervous, it was easy enough, but he was right to not have looked forward to it. Truth was, they hadn’t actually been doing much work today, just going over procedures and who would be working with who (Agent Manesh would be his partner). He had flashed on every single member of the team, giving him a splitting headache, he hadn’t heard from Casey since lunch-time and his lack of sleep from the night before was beginning to catch up with him.

Closing the door to give them some privacy, Sarah turned to him, all pretences of friendly smiles gone, “What’s your problem?” she snapped.

“Excuse me?”

“You heard me. You’ve done nothing but mope about all day, being not only grumpy with me but with the rest of the team. Anyone would think you didn’t want to be here.”

Chuck just stared at her, amazed by here complete obtuseness.

“Oh please,” she scoffed, grabbing the coffee pot and pouring herself a large cup, “You wanted to become an Agent. What did you think was going to happen? That you and Casey would become partners, fighting evil together and living happily ever after.”

“Not exactly,” he said, “But I only signed up for this because I was told that he would be my partner, not some CIA agent I’ve never even met before and who, by the way, was recruited from prison.”

Sarah didn’t look surprised at that, and Chuck supposed that she must have on some level, already known about that.

“I wouldn’t start questioning people’s backgrounds and ability to do their job Charles. After all, Agent Manesh was able to become fluent in five languages on her own, without the help of a computer program.”

Chuck frowned down at her, “What are you talking about?”

“Who do you think put the key in your game?” she asked, making his eyebrows shoot up, “I knew you were being trained and as soon as I found out, I knew I had to have you on my team. So, if you can’t at least act like you’re happy to have been chosen for this elite team, at least show a little gratefulness. If it wasn’t for me, you’d still be an asset.”

Chuck was to say the least, shocked. He could feel his mouth hanging open and everything. But before he could get his brain into gear and say anything the door to the kitchen was pushed open and in walked Agent Brown (a fellow NSA agent).

“Is that freshly brewed?” he asked.

“Uh yeah,” Sarah said, fake smile plastered back onto her face as she stood back to allow him access to the coffee.

“Great,” he said as he reached out and grabbed himself a mug, “You having some Charles?” he asked as he noticed the empty mug in Chuck’s hand.

“Uh, yeah,” he said, finally looking away from Sarah who had went back to scowling at him now that Brown wasn’t looking anymore, “Thanks,” he added when his cup was full before looking back up to find Sarah gone.

Chuck smiled to himself as he made his way up the stairs to the apartment. He was so tired and fed up that he was so happy that the day was almost over, the thought of going home to that big hunk of his being the only thing to keep him going all day.

He really wasn’t looking forward to going back there tomorrow.

Working with Sarah again, although easy, was anything but enjoyable. She seemed to enjoy reminding him that he was newly qualified and had at one time been an asset, a useless one at that.

He still couldn’t believe that it was her that had put the key in his game. He had been positive it was Bryce, as had Casey. Man was he in for a shock. He had tried calling him when he got out of work earlier to tell him about it, but his phone had just rang out. He wasn’t worried about it though, just figured that Casey had been in the bathroom or something and would talk to him when he got home.

Reaching his floor, he pulled out his keys and stepped inside, “Honey, I’m home,” he shouted, hoping that Casey would appear soon.

But he didn’t.

“John?”

No answer.

“John are you here?”

Once again, there was no answer. Turning to see if he could see a clue as to where he might be, he saw two small objects sitting on the worktop next to a folded piece of paper.

Stepping forward, he picked up the paper, his heart sinking when he saw that it was a hastily written letter from Casey:

‘My Beloved Little Electron,

I’m sorry.

I know you were expecting me to be there when you came home, probably have a hundred and one stories to tell me about your day, and oh how I wish I was there to hear them. But I’m not.

I got a call this morning. Got my new assignment. I can’t tell you much about it, but I’ll probably be gone for a couple of months, hopefully less if all goes well. God, I miss you already, I can’t imagine what two months will be like without you.

I have my cell with me, but it won’t be safe for you to contact me on that. I should get a new number tonight and I will call you on the cell I’ve left on the kitchen counter. Don’t use that cell for anything other than contacting me. I won’t be able to call you much, but I will try as hard as I can to speak to you every day.

If you need anything and can’t contact me, please, call my mother. I’ve told her to call you at least once every other week to make sure you’re okay. I’ll be checking in with her so I will know if you haven’t spoken to her. You’re family now, you always will be.

Oh, before I forget, I’ve left something else on the counter for you. It’s my high school class ring. And no, it’s not a proposal, so make sure your sister doesn’t get too excited when you tell her about it. I just wanted you to have something of mine to keep with you at all times. I had wanted to get it engraved, but that will have to wait until I come back.

Remember your training, don’t let Walker get you down, keep smiling and I will be home soon.

I love you and I can’t imagine what my life would be like now if you weren’t in it.

All my love,

Proton x’

THE END

A/N: I’ve started a sequel, so don’t worry. It’s not all over for our boys yet.
