I really do hate fandom snobbery. It's a load of bollocks!
My fic 'Death of Squee' was rejected from torch_wood because it 'wasn't about torchwood.'
If it wasn't about torchwood then what the fuck was it about?
Just because I used non torchwood characters to portray the story doesn't make it any less about torchwood. I've seen stories posted there using completely original characters in much the same way. So because I use characters from another fandom it suddenly doesn't fit the genre.
Well they can fuck off! I only posted it there cause I thought the people in the torchwood fandom might like to read. Obviously not. They can go screw themselves!
