MUSICMUMIY TROLLStarted as a hip garage band in Vladivostok during the last years of the Soviet Union, Mumiy Troll gained immense popularity with a combination of melodic pop-rock and Ilya Lagutenko's offbeat lyrics and coy, androgynous performance style.
Mumiy Troll remains one of Russia's most glamorous pop-stars. The band represented Russia at the Eurovision Contest 2001 (finished twelfth with Lady Alpine Blue).
On the symbolical date of July 7th 2007 Mumiy Troll's 7th studio album "AMBA" was released. The album can be heard entirely on Mumiy Troll's official website.
