Wednesday, we're going to look at a house to rent!!! A house!
I'm trying, really, to not get too excited about it, but it sounds so delicious! It's $140 less than what we pay now, in a rural area with very convenient highway access, and it's close to my parents. It was just completely renovated, brand new kitchen, brand new bathroom, brand new appliances. It has TWO FLOORS! Two floors!
Downside is that it's tiny, and the bedrooms have no closets. This is no problem for me, because I grew up in a little cottage, with one closet in the entire house. Plus, it'll give us a good excuse to get rid of some of our junk.
Omigosh, a house. With a yard for B to play in! Aiyeee!!
And sorry I've been so lax with the commenting lately. I've been trying to get this apartment clean enough to have a chance to get some of our security deposit back. Gah, I can't stand this place. Until this afternoon, we had no hot water since February! Yes, I know, February was only a week ago, but a week is way too long to go without hot water, especially since it's included in our rent!! When our across the hall neighbors called the property manager yesterday, she was oretty much told that they weren't going to do something about it because she was the only one who had complained about it. WTF? She also had no heat, also included in the rent. There is an eighteen month old baby living in that apartment, and the management won't do anything about it? Fuckers. Absolute fuckers.
