Szymon Nehring is the winner of the 2017 Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition in Tel Aviv, Israel, the first Pole to ever win this prestigious competition. In addition to the Gold Medal, he won the Best Performer of a Chopin Piece, Advanced Studies, and Junior Jury prizes. In 2015, as a recipient of the Krystian Zimerman scholarship, he received an Honorable Mention and won the Audience Prize at the 17th Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition. His debut CD with music by Polish composers received the 2016 Fryderyk award, Poland's most prestigious music distinction.
