(no subject)
Lately I've done a horrible job of keeping in touch with people, in particular those I really enjoy hanging out with and who mean a lot to me... this needs to be worked on. I'll be making more of a point to hang out at Smith too.
I've been seeing a few movies lately, including Juno, which was cute. However, I just about orgasmed when I realized her vehicle of choice was an old Toyota Previa minivan with dents all over it. I think they were going for super-dorky with the choice of car, which says oh so much. I also saw I Am Legend, which really dissapointed me, since I was hoping it would be like the original 50s version. No such luck. Although apparently, come the zombie/vampire apocalypse, the one place that will be spared is... Bethel, Vermont. No fucking joke. I guess this doesn't surprise me because realistically, zombies would go to that town and be like "Fuck that, let's bounce." THEN Scott and I went to Cloverfield, which just about made me vomit but was pretty kickass overall. Oh apocalypse smut, how addicted I am to you.
It's a small world after all... well, small New England anyway. I show up at the Smith party last night and some girl I've never seen before in my life says "Are you Amanda Ellis?" Apparently she's dating someone I went to Exeter with, whom I didn't know that well but but am friends with on Facebook, which is how she knew who I was. Strange.
I'm putting in my application this week for Denali. Wish me luck!
