John Kerry never tells us how he's going to protect this nation; he doesn't tell us how his national security policy is better than Bush's. It's all just vague political rhetoric. He criticized Bush for being ambiguous, but now Bush has never been more clear. Bush has told us how over and over again. Kerry gave a speech in which he said he would stop the nuclear programs Bush is pushing so that it would set an example for the rest of the world. Only minutes later, he said that the security of the U.S. would be his number one priority; he would "keep terrorists from acquiring weapons of mass destruction" and discourage belligerent states from developing them as well. How asinine can you be?! Does he really believe that by not creating our own weapons, the rest of the world that hate us will simply follow suit? It's ridiculous. President Bush hit the nail on the head today during his commencement address at the USAF Academy's graduation ceremony. He said that "the terrorists that attacked us on September 11th were not protesting our policies, they were protesting our existence." Therefore, he said that we would take the fight to the enemy, so we would not have to fight it here. There you go...that's how. Kerry doesn't know how. If only people would see this, but of course they won't. The mainstream press won't show you that Kerry's all talk and nothing more. What is it with so many liberals anyway? Don't they understand that the reason we develop such destructive weapons is so we won't have to use them???...deterrence, that's what it's called, deterrence. WE are not the ones attacking nations, WE are not the ones destroying innocent people.
