I love the scent of the ocean
I think I need more coffee.
This morning a friend shared a most useful list of things to say when you are thinking something else.
We then had the kind of day at work where I needed to use a number of them.
Don't get me wrong, I love my job, and the people I work with.
I just do not love their behavior sometimes. The thing that I was trying not to say is: "Why does it all have to be about you, without any thought to how your actions effect other people?"
Sometimes I think that we are all too polite. Today the boss was complaining that she did not have any time to grocery shop. Which means "I do not have time in my day at work to take the time to order peapod delivery to my home." THe other lawyer in the office said, I know I did not get home till late last night because I had to grocery shop. The boss comes back with, I know it is horrible, I am going to have to leave an hour early today so that I go to the store.
Ohh, Look a Starbucks.
