New home

Okay, so we didn't build. I said the hell with it and went looking for someone else's used and rejected home. A year. pardon me, much more than that if you consider all the time between the idea of burning down the old homestead and actually closing on the new place, has passed since I started the search for home answers.

Thank you! I love the porch too. You're from England IIRC, right? Unfortunately, our weather here in Ohio can be quite similar to England. Cold, wet, and unpredictable. The summers are usually at least warm but it's always questionable as to the weather any given year. But even if it's rainy we can enjoy the porch so I'm excited about that.

We've got a set of wicker furniture that we had on an enclosed porch at the old place. We'll put that out in the spring. Now I just need a rocking chair or two and I'm all set to welcome any roaming House/Hugh fans that wander through my neck of the woods!

Yes, the tree is ours. In fact there are two. An Oak and, the one you are seeing, a Tulip tree. I have some pictures of them but I can't find a way to hide the rest of my photobucket account. Wouldn't want everyone perusing my porn! LOL! ( Kidding ; ) ) So I'm looking at alternate methods to post them here. So please check back when you can. So nice to hear from you.

And yes, I will be raking leaves and cleaning the gutters again this weekend. I love it!

Yep, I'm from England. Never go anywhere without a brolly

That's today's weather! The heavens suddenly burst open at lunchtime, all the trees on our business park lost what was left of their leaves, thankfully I was safely tucked inside our office but a few friends were out for a lunchtime walk and got a bit drenched.
