That is the amount that I have raised so far for the walk/run fundraising event that my family is participating in on May 2 just east of Edmonton. 25% of the first $250 goes toward the fundraising of the Strathcona County Parks Department and the balance goes to the charitable organization of our choice. We've selected the Lynda White Memorial Scholarship Foundation, the foundation we started last year in memory of my mom and which now has official charitable status. So, my efforts will result in $734.50 toward the foundation + everything that my family raised. This is a nice start for our first fundraiser!
