The concluding chapter to Dressing Down or Alpaca Bag is up! You can find it here and here

Thanks so much if you R&R'd. I really appreciate it. Something that Ruanchunxian01 and Clio noted in the story was how different each Monarch's relationship is with his or her Guard. Jalur manages Edmund, Dalia and Fooh after become Peter's emotional ( Read more... )

One of these days, I will have someone film me reading one of your fic updates so you can see how much your writing can affect people. This one involved bursts of cackling and clutching my phone to my chest and leg flailing. (I was reading it as a bedtime story to myself >.>)

Awww, thank you. The second chapter didn't get as much love as the first which made me sad because I HAD such fun with it. Shadow (&) Flax, RUN LIKE THE WIND. It's pretty cracky but the llamas were just a blast. Thanks again.

I leave kudos/favs whenever I can-- Comments not so much, unless you care to try and interpret keyboard smashing. Shadow and Flax were hilarious. Susan's shutting them down even more so.

(SO THAT"S COOK'S SPECIES. A great mystery, solved :D)

Lovely! (and then when the Lord Digory was tempted to take an apple for himself, he looked up, and there was a magnificent yellow-and-purple llama in the tree...)

And poor Cook! It must be so difficult, and so unrewarding, trying to cater for so many different palates at once (the carnivores will only eat meat, the squirrels insist on a diet rich in nuts, and there's probably someone around who can only digest food heavy in gluten...)

Thank you for all this!

Peter is to boats as Susan is to offal as Edmund is to pollen. I need to come up with something for Lucy. Cook is actually a minotaur -- something broadly hinted at in the final chapters of H&M. I think it's probably a huge burden upon her to cook normal, boring food day in and day out. She probably can't get away with cooking everything but the squeal too often and she very well knows they all hate it. It's for her. I think it's her comfort food, the way I feel au gratin potatoes and turkey barley stew.

Thanks so much for reading. I really appreciate it.

The culturally appropriating llamas were a lot of fun. Shadow (&) Flax, definitely not descendants of the Mearas.

Late to the feast, but I enjoyed it very much! Loved the utterly unreliable narration of the Llamas, and the revelation that it's all about them. :) and their teeth-grittingly annoying refrain! (and how Susan squashed it.)
and of course, the lovely ending.
(The world needs more Lambert! Is it too late to change my prompt elsewhere to ask for Lambert and Susan?)

No, not at all. First up, Susan and Cook (maybe with added Lambert)
