Saturday morning while he was at the babysitter's house, I converted Ilya's crib into a toddler bed. We're calling it his "Little Boy Bed," and he's still excited that he's in a little-boy bed now and not a crib anymore.
Best of all, two nights out of four since converting the bed, he's slept through the night in the bed. Sometime early on during the snows of February, he started climbing out of his crib during the night, and sleeping in our bed. And not just some of the time, but EVERY NIGHT. Not to mention waking up way earlier than usual - like 5:30am. We've been dying to get him back in his bed, and on his old sleep schedule. So the two nights he's slept straight through the night in his bed, and slept until a normal time of morning, have been a blessing.
