i thought i would be clever and order my books online. hahahahaha what a great idea! i thought. i did a little research and got my total price down from over $300 to around $220. woohoo! how much better could it get?
anyways. I go to the local store to get the stuff they don't sell online, and I notice that the chemistry book i need is "custom" for msu. Fuck. It has already shipped. So i have to wait for it to get here, so I can send it back (full refund!) and buy the new one.
I just got my calculus book yesterday, thank god.
HISTORY. I just got an email confirming the shipping of one of the two books, that it will arrive in 30-45 days. and sorry we didn't send it yesterday, it was a holiday in the UK. FUCK THAT.
According to the website, the other one has also shipped but i have no idea where the fuck that one is. It should get here by sept. 13th.
In the meantime, I learned my lesson and now need to study at the bookstore before i make friends in that class so that i can stay ahead of the reading (which is integral).
Fuck online textbooks. Saves you money? fuck that.
