Yeah, it was awesome, and adventurous. As my mom keeps saying, I always have to be a drama queen (who, me?) and make things exciting.
So I got home, took a shower, etc, and then knelt on the floor for an hour so Mom could do my hair. She was talking to me, telling me a story of some friend of hers whose son had passed out because he was tired and partying too much. Then I started feeling weird, probably from the excitement, nerves, and (in hindsight) I was a bit dehydrated. Anyone see where this is going? Yeah, I passed out. A very interesting experience, it was like i was dreaming, and then I woke up and had no idea why I was laying face down on the floor. According to eyewitnesses (aka Mom and Julie), I collapsed in a ball, Mom tried to straighten me out, and then I springed straight - into the floor. So I'm alright, Mom asked me questions (she thought I was anorexic for a few minutes lol) and force-fed me crackers and water, and fixed my hair while I held ice to the side of my head/my eye. Luckily, no black eye, it's a little bruised today but you couldn't tell at prom last night.
Rest of prom went smoothly. It was a lot of fun, good food, freaking amazing desserts (chocolate cream puffs...). We went to Perkins after, where there was a very sarcastic waiter, and a huge cast party trying to convince the waiter they "had a birthday" to get free food. And Miranda shoved a spoon down the front of Jess's dress (she has a picture). Then off to bowling, which was fun and loud and really fun. And the pizza was good. Finally got to Caitlin's around 2:30ish, the girls went downstairs and I collapsed on the couch to wait with Don for his mom to come pick him up. And I fell asleep. Ooops. I had planned on going downstairs and staying up awhile, but when I opened my eyes there was light outside the windiw and it was 10am. I guess faiting makes you really tired. Then this morning we all pigged out, talked with Karissa (sooo nice to have her here!!!!), and watched RENT. Then I went home, and here I am. Yep.
Other notes: Julie did a Level VI NYSSMA solo and got a 92, she's awesome! Basically everyone knows the story of my fainting, even Bacon and Pitkin, so I guess I'll never live it down. I'm going to some Girls State Orientation thingy tomorrow and need a picture of myself that looks good, so if anyone has any good pictures of me (not the blackmail ones Dee!) please let me know and get them to me ASAP!!! Thankees!
