[Heulwen and Leyson are having mead and sharing a conversation in the meadhall when Gilgamesh arrives. She's recently returned from her Cibola Goat Woman Adventure. Spinning insues!]
What can only be described as a "Squee!" comes out of Heulwen as she jumps up, over a bench, though some Kitzeh patrons and launches herself at Gil--a pouncing, happy mass of Rebman girl. She is not as fast at this as Dame Taleyn but enthusiasm counts.
Gilgamesh blinks and catches her with an omph. Forgetting this is a woman who likes to batter herself against things, he move sideways as he catches her, turning some of the momentum into centrifugal force.
Leyson watches Heulwen blandly, his eyebrows raised.
Heulwen may have rather impacted than have been caught, but her expression contains a great deal of happiness as she is caught and quickly spun to get rid of some of her supercharged enthusiasm. "Do it again?" She asks Gilgamesh when she comes to a stop next to him. "I missed you. Thank you for the FANTASTIC KARM backpack...have you met my cousin, Lord Leyson?"
Gilgamesh says, "No, good, you're welcome, and do we need to buy you armor as well?"
***************[Later in the Mead Hall]
Heulwen is watching Gilgamesh with what appears to be an innocent enough grin--dimples form. "You look amazing. Are you sure you're going to be at Karm later?"
Gilgamesh says, "Heading back now, actually...catch you later?"
Heulwen laughs, "Yes! As often as you would like!" she answers as if she were being literal about the question.
Gilgamesh arches an amused brow and heads out.
Leyson laughs lightly. "And spin you around, most likely."
*************************[Even later in the mead hall]****************
Heulwen says, "He seemed fine when he was here earlier, wanted me to drop by after I was done here and tell him about my jungle experiences. He looked fantastic! I think even Cousin Leyson would agree?"
Leyson says, "He caught her when she flung herself at him like a cannonball, redirected the force, and didn't even lose his balance. I was impressed."
