Coffee: Coat Snatching Plans Continue! (Hawt Hawt Coat Action)
(Excerpt, mostly Addison's moral outrage at the Karm Coat Hording!)
"For blowing up property?" Addison says. "The Karms will be upset and they might press charge against the Rebman Embassy for damages. If you're arrested for larceny, breaking and entering, and theft, well, you're going to deal with the Lower Court so as your Attorney, I advise you to not get caught."
Heulwen grins at Flora, "I'll wear a funny costume."
Addison makes this gesture of 'whatever'. "Heulwen if you get into trouble, and you get me a coat as well, I will get you off the hook."
Heulwen appears to have a plan, "He did invite me to 'inventory' his closet," she mentions to Addison.
Addison says, "Well, he has two coats too bloody many and you have to take them."
Addison says, "You do realize with a bit of legal authority and a good waggling finger, you can make anyone believe pretty much anything. Especially with the criminal justice code of Amber consisting entirely of soiled tea napkins."
Eva grins "Maybe someone should start a production of IvorKarmCoats."
"Fantastic!" Heulwen says as if this was a legal system for her.
Heulwen notes, "And he's hording all the extra special coats."
Taleyn giggles! "KarmCoats could become the new currency of the black market!"
"Lord Ivor Karm is violating the Fire Code and Coat Act of 1135 as under King Oberon the 1st that dictates that however many coats Ivor has? He has to be under by two or else be fined and forced to go without coats entirely," Addison says. "Confiscation. Fire codes. Very important."
Heulwen asides to Addison, "I don't see how this plan could go wrong."
Addison asides to Heulwen, "I can see how this plan can go wrong but you should do it anyway."
Eva grins at Addison then at Heulwen "This shall be amazing."
