Dear Diary,
Nothing interesting at all yesterday. I had lunch at the Crown and Rose and tried to find Bloody Whoever's for dinner but got lost. Didn't see anybody I knew.
Feeling better about Ula. She and Mos (I hope he doesn't object to that nickname) convinced me that I wasn't really at fault. I guess I was just pre-emptively shooting the messenger, and being as how that was me I was having remarkable success at it. So I'm still a little anxious around her.
Not that that's the only reason I have to have butterflies in my stomach around Ula. Or Mos, for that matter.
Anyway. Today I should probably start working on getting to know Lady Beatrice. Ula has agreed to set up a tea with her brother Jack; hopefully that will go well. (Not hopefully; I need to stop using that word.) That will go well unless he actively doesn't want it to.
Today will be more interesting.
