Holy fucking shit!!!! Where to begin.
For a moment there I wanted to ask the asenine question "Why is the world doing this to me?" but then I paused for a moment and realised how fucking retarded it really is to ask that.
It has been a great deal of time since I wrote anything of depth (or at all) in here and though there are no real good reasons, I figured that if I add in ehough fill and bull shit , everyone will forgive me and not have to put up with my babble being gone for so long.
I am not sure if I mentioned it and am way too damn lazy to check my archives, but my job is an interesting challenge. I currently work at a place called APAC, and they are very much like TPUSA and Convergys. June came along and they decided that Medco was to be downsized, so I was one of 10 to either be moved to another project or removed all together. I chose to go to another project. I was moved to SBC, and for an entire week all I did was sit around reading books. There was so nothing to do there and all the treaining we got for the project was "here is a piece of paper, if the phone rings, answer and read the paper. Here is another piece of paper. after you read the first piece of paper fill out all the stuff on the second piece of paper." Rocket science thinking involved there, I tell you what. After sitting ther with my thumb up mt ass they decided that we are jus t costing them money so they laied us all off. I was told that I would be rehired in a month, which was changed to a whole week, where they call me back to work for SBC. I went there for SBC training and that lasted a wee as well, because they decided that I was not right for that type of work "outbound sales" (thank something that They thought that, because I have been thinking the same thing for years. and wanted to let me go again. After decidid that I had a computer background they decided to give me a week trial in the IT department. After a week of sitting around in the IT being ignored and reading books I was told that they did not have enough work to keep me busy (there are only 3 people in the department anyway)so they shuffled me off to verizon. Now I am working for verizon and not completely hating it. so there is the work thing.
Now onto the apartment soapbox. THis happened not too long ago. There was a mix up in the building where I live. Someone living in the same building was getting their power cut off, and by accident they cut mine off and was not able to get it back on for almost a week. That caused some things to decay and some family stress.
Last feature bitch of the day. the car. Here is the situation. One of the radiator hoses spouted a leak and just after I found and reaired that fun, the clutch went out, and the cost for that was painfully high. well, to think that was all the fun one can have, the brakes went out an I wanged the front end against a small pick-up, this killed the radiator, and caused a nasty oil leak and escalated the radiator leakage as well. not to mention the crumpled hood and missing headlight. this prompted me to replace the car with something different. this simething different is a 1982 Crown Victoria. Not too bad but pretty old and kind of a gas hog. Oh well, it has power and does not leak as much. On top of that, some ass munch broke into the "new" car twice in under 3 weeks. We do not keep anything of value in there, but it was just after I received and read my copy of "A series of unfortunate events 11, The Grim Grotto" and yes I feel a small sence of irony having a book of unfortunate events take place in an unfortunate event. tee hee. I would have been more pissed off if I had not finished reading the book.
other than all the fun, Dayna recently received her first paycheck, and though it was not huge, and she had to pay most of it to pay her tuition, I am happier knowing the we are not DINKS again. that stands for Dual Income, No Kids for those wh odo not know that.
I rented and watched "the passion" finally and though it was the most violent version of that story I have ever seen. They so kicked his ass, I am not in the least supprised that he crawled onto his own cross, that would hurt like a son-of-a-bitch but al least the romans would stop beating the shit out him. there is a blessing in disguise if I ever heard one. We also rented "Jersy Girl" and that was ok too.
On a better note. I will be making an appearange in the great state of UT from 12/24-12/30 this year. Yes folks, the lost lamb is coming home for a short visit. The tickets purchased and a ride from the airport already planned. I have to spend some time with a few of you good people while I am there. Jason, me and you are spending some time. Sable, we have to do lunch ir dinner some time, Karl, time for you is greatly needed, Cindy, there is no question of time with you and the girls. all others that I missed, we will have to figure something out, but keep in mind that I have to spend time with the family, they are the main reason I am going to be there.
