1. Is crackfic allowed? I've got an idea for a crackfic that's basically a HP/Jane Austen crossover. (Sort of. More... Clueless or Bridget Jones's Diary style than a literal rewrite with HP characters.)

2. Can Remus and Tonks be the B couple, but with more attention than Jane Austen B pairings often get?

sorry it’s taken so long to reply to your second question!

While a HP/Jane Austen crossover sounds like a really fun idea (I'd love to read it!), this is a community for Remus and Tonks. So a fic where the focus lies more on another romantic pairing and the relationship between Remus and Tonks is more in the background probably isn’t the best fit for this community.

Yeah, to be quite honest (and I'm sorry I didn't add an ETA) I kinda nixed the idea anyway, for precisely the reasons you stated. I want to write Remus/Tonks as the main pairing, especially as I don't really get to outside of this comm very often. :)
