You'd mentioned Lupercalia before, so as soon as I saw the prompt, the gears started turning. And then came the idea to combine it with a full moon, and it all fell together.
I love the idea of the golden wolf who "drives away the wolves of night," too... And I think Remus needs to hear that sort of thing much more often, that it's possible to be a "good" kind of wolf, too :-)

I adore this stubborn, loving Tonks, and the way Remus has come to where he doesn't feel he needs to try too hard to push her away. And I really like the way she can make him laugh, which is probably what he needs most of all after the full moon -- that, and a gentle touch and some snuggling under the blanket, of course. Aww.

I love stubborn Tonks, and that Remus isn't quite as stubborn ;)
