Long time, no post ;) As the school year wound down, fandom became busy and as it were, Remus/Tonks fics became non-existant. However,
rt_challenge kicks off June 16 which means for the next month, fandom will be flooded with everything from emo-angst to fluff to crack!fic and everything in between. In order to get you into the mood, here are a few drabbles from the last round that show how powerful short pieces of fic can be.

: Naked in a hotel roomAuthor:
mithborienWhy: If anything,
mithborien is best known for her amazing icons and headers, but this piece - sad, quiet, and breathtaking - is also memorable. Post-Second War Remus/Tonks introspective angst which is lovely and far too short, but oh so poignant.

The Sunny Side of the OceanAuthor:
daylightsparksWhy:
daylightsparks is an excellent writer who has a knack for writing tight pieces with lots of tangible details that make the scenes feel real. In this story, she sets the scene so well that you can almopst smell the salt air.
Title:
Other MasqueradesAuthor:
le_parapluieAnd the story...: Aegle is one of my favorite writers becaus she writes Remus and Tonks as humans. I love how she blends Muggle life with the Wizarding world, and the sex - this piece is rated R - is incredibly realistic and hot.
Title:
DistractionAuthor:
meddowSup?:
meddow writes amazing pieces and this one - posted on the last day of the challenge - did not get as much feedback as it should have.
