Author's Note: This is my first drabble. I struggled a lot with it, and I would love constructive criticism.
In July they sat at opposite ends of the table at dinner.
In September there were three people between them during Order meetings.
In November they sat together in the library, though there was still some space between them.
By January there was no space between them at all.
They were joined so tightly that they believed nothing could come between them. Not problems, not war, not even the moon.
They were right. They were forced to face a year of the cruelest separation, but they never were completely apart. It only made their coming together again all the sweeter.
