Oooh, so interesting. I do like these ones that find ways around the...the implied ending, lol. And I have to say I adore the idea of Neville being good with babies. Of course Hermione would try to look up what to do for a crying baby, lol. Looking forward to more!

implied ending *snort* Yeah, exactly. And if I'm ever going to write my post-war AU werewolf-rights fic, I have to prepare myself a canon loophole, right? ;)

The Neville and Hermione scene was fun to write. I figure, Neville seems to get people, so maybe that extends to very small people too. Thanks for the kind words -- more will hopefully be coming soon!

Absolutely you need a loophole! I'm fast coming to the point where I think the ending is...Riddikulus and we should all just ignore it. Maybe JKR will get the point and release a revised edition. ;)

You know, the funny part of that idea is that I believe JKR once said she would like to revise portions of at least the first two books someday....

I don't really trust her statements much nowadays, but who knows where that sentiment could lead in the future?
