Summary: Remus can’t help his reaction to her, even if she’s not there.
Author's Note: This one came to me all of the sudden.
Her foot grazes up his leg lazily, earning shallow breath from him. Nimble fingers tracing circles over his ribs, then gently back and forth across his chest force his eyes closed. Her lips are on his neck, light yet persistent and his body is humming. A playful nip of his earlobe sends a wave of pleasure through his body. But, it’s the whisper of her voice against his ear that jerks him to reality.
Lying exhausted, cold and alone he holds in the sob that is crushing his chest, as the phantom brush of her against him disappears. Of all the memories, it’s strange the ones that haunt us in our darkest hours.
