Hey man, this is so cool it's hot *grin*

I love it. The beat thunk-plat it moves me. My favorite? There is no Om in Urban and They're going home to television and tea, radios and mashed potatoes. The ordinariness of life set to rhythm, man, dig it.

Haha. Thank you. I wrote "there is no Om in Urban" a long time ago in a notebook and didn't really know what it meant. My bullshit explanation is that there's no peace or tranquility in a bustling city. But uh...that came after the fact. ;)

First time I read this I went... 'Now that's odd'.

Second time, I conceded that it was brilliant. I love the imagery of the black cabs floating on the Ganges. I'm on a third reading now, so who knows... ;)

Third time you'll see right through me and realize I'm just rambling.

Hee.

Thank you!

This is stunning. You really manage to capture the flavor of London - in that respect, it reminds me of my favorite Kinks song, "Waterloo Sunset" - and I love the line about "the war they cannot see." Great stuff.

I will admit here that my musical education on the Kinks lacks something to be desired...but I'll check it out, because generally I like them, what I've heard.

Thank you, thank you.

Oh, I loved this, especially the part about the Muggles and the war they'll ever see. Very nice little drabble.
