Aubrey and I went to a bar last night call Jo's Bar and Garáž, THEY WERE SO NICE! We had wandered past a few bars about an hour before they were closed and they wouldn't let us in. We couldn't tell if it was because they were actually shutting down, or because we're tourists. In any case, it doesn't matter because we found Jo's and they were very very nice. Pretty much the only place we felt comfortable admitting we were from the USA, everywhere else we say we're from Canada.

The bartender had one of those super wide contagious smiles and asked us if we'd be back on wednesday. When we told him we would be here for a whole month, he got really excited and danced around the bar. Then he made fun of me for drinking Stella Artois, and had me drink a Czech beer called Staropramen.

They corrected our pronunciation of 'hello' and 'thank you', and taught us how to say 'cheers!' I didn't really realize it until now, but they REALLY appreciate it if you make an effort to speak their language, even if it's only a few words.

Okay, it's 6:30am, I'm going to try to go back to sleep or take a shower or something!
