I actually have a strange love for dive-y diners and Americana so I could describe this particular place for days and had to resist in order get in an all the dialogue.

I will have to keep writing this at some point because the characters keep talking to me. I feel like a madwoman describing it this way but it's like Mel is trying to show me the prison cell she woke up in in what would be the next chapter and I feel sort of bad keeping her there ya know? Especially cause I'm pretty sure she didn't murder anyone (but she won't come right out and say she didn't.)

I have been thinking of using this as my jumping off point for Camp NaNoWriMo in July but if I stay in LJ Idol that long trying to do both might be crazy. I keep resisting just sitting down and starting writing what comes next even though I can't stop thinking about it myself.
