Finally
Sorry everyone for the delay in my posting, I landed safely on friday around 8am grenich. But when I got to school I found out that I couldn't log online untill I had "properly" been registered. Which we didnt do until yesterday. Then last night was a guy down the halls birthday, so we went down to this place caled the guildhall, (for NUS members only(national Union of students)) Anyway I got back too late to try and post. So far its been great here. All the people my hall are great and very kind.Luke (whos bday it was) watched the first half of the super bowl with me in his room. Garret(my senior stdent/RA) challanged me to a game of madden 2004, needless to say I kicked his ass..... But then we played EA's rugby game, and he schooled me. Any way.....
My first day in Britian(whole day) I went to down town Winchester and shopped for the few things I forgot to bring. around 2pm I ran into Mary, an american student from San Fran, whom I shared a cab from the bus stop. So anyway I ran into her and we walked around together and shopped abit but mainly just looked..... We went to the cathedral here... its fucking amazing.... anyway, we decided to meet up later for dinner, but found out that the cafe is only open until 3pm on weekends. So we walked down town and found a great italian place... THen we went down to the crown anchor and each had our first pint (her half pint) of british ale in england. I ordered the IPA and its probably the best tasting beer I've ever had. (Green King IPA) I could actually drink it for taste. so anyway we called it a night and I went to bed.
Sunday.... I went down town to grab some food becase once again I missed dinner time. So after I grabbed a quick bite I walked by the crown anchor and decided to take a pic and get a pint.... next I went to a place called the old market inn... I met a guy from illinios who just moved here 5 months ago. and a chap from montriel who goes to uni in london. after a few I went home met luke and garret and the above happened.
