not too much to say, but i haven't touched this thing in a while. the weather gods have smiled upon me today. i started out for work this morning at the usual hour of 7:45, walked about 5 minutes and realized i didn't have an umbrella. it wasn't raining, but it was looking like it. at that point, i still have a good 10 to 15 minute walk in front of me, and to go back and get my umbrella would have made me noticable late for work. see, i am always late for work, but so long as i get there before anything constructive is done, i can still mark that i started at 8 on my timesheet and no one cares. 8:30 though, that would be tricky (not to say i haven't done it...). anyway, with no umbrella, i thankfully make it to work before it started to rain, but as soon as i got there the heavens broke into a fully on thunderstorm. i thought i was screwed for the walk back, but lo and behold, it stopped raining at like 10, and i leave at 10:15. score.

however, that victory was marred by the fact that my cranberry juice spilled in my bag, and now my iPod won't turn on. fantastic.

i'm done here in a week and a half. scary. i move out next saturday, which is weird to think about. i am eager to get home and be done here, but the thought of saying goodbye and leaving is sad. things are weird here now anyway, it feels almost stale, and the people can be dumb. i feel like i am back in middle school sometimes. i'm looking forward to meeting some new people next year, but still, this has been a year of my life, and i'll miss it.

three weeks from now i'll be in buenos aires. can't wait.
