Prompt 1. Handcuffs, "just one more". Yesung/Rainie
Rating: PG | Genre: Romance/Drama | Disclaimer: I don't own them. Plot is mine. | Summary: She never stays, but she's always waiting. So is he.
Warning: UN-BETA'D.
Glory is the word that intensifies success. When it comes down to moments like these, Yesung isn’t sure whether or not he should feel glorious. He’s never meant to-
“And because you always get everything you want every time doesn’t mean that this time-”
“I do not!” He argues.
Rainie narrows her eyes, crossing her arms over her chest. “Oh really?” She quirks a brow.
Just one more, he hopes, if only she could look at him with gentle eyes one more time. “If you were around more, you would know.”
She’d been waiting. She was always the one that waited, endlessly. She doesn’t want to wait anymore. “You sound like a girl.”
“That shouldn’t be a problem since you’re so much of a man,” he retorts.
Neither of them are saying what they really intend to, but both of them seem to hear more than they’re given. Even he knows that he’s asking for too much. Like being bound by handcuffs, he never allows her to leave him - he’s never been good at letting go.
“If you would just stay here, with me-”
Though he asks for something she could never do, not once has she believed his requests to be outrageous. She knows that, beneath it all, he only wants to love her. “I can’t,” she sighs as she closes her eyes, even though I really want to stay.
Yesung forces a bitter smile. “Then just return to where you came from,” he says, as long as you know how to come back.
“I will,” is what Rainie counters.
His heart sinks, his eyes swell, his hand clutch into fists. He’s not invincible, no matter how much she might believe him to be.
She knows that he’s much too breakable. “But I’ll be back.”
“I know,” Yesung replies, because you always come back to me in the end.
When she leaves, he watches her with solemn eyes. Bound together by a thin string; ties of romance that was never expected.
Yesung bathes in glory - of being loved and loving in return. In his heavy heart, that weighs heavier with every step she takes, he is glorious. Because, in the end, she’s stuck with him - wrist to wrist, heart to heart.
She’s imprisoned by romance.

A/N: So, waaaaaay behind :D Just finished finals week, had a hectic work week (working 2 jobs and going to school SUCKS). I haven't been able to write at all lately (no inspiration, super tired), what with work and school and caring for my sister who just got out of the hospital and trying to learn how to cook (Nyx says I've been doing good :D).
I have the weirdest couples in line for this December Challenge (that Nyx has forced upon me - which, blame her for the couples, she gave 'em to me >.>) Oh, I'm only doing drabbles, by the way. My minimum word count is 200words. I'll use that to my advantage XD
Anyhow, I hoped this was okay! Happy Holidays, everyone!!
