July is horrible
Today I opened up my paycheck expecting it to be the same amount it always is. Instead, it was much bigger! I asked if something was messed up and found out that we were all given raises with really no announcement. That was cool, I certainly didn't expect that! That's two decent sized raises in the last couple months.
Other than that though, this has been a pretty horrible week. The weather turned to shit, it now actually feels like July and I now remember why this is my least favorite month of the year. I really really miss being away from Amanda, I can't believe it's been over a week since I left her... It was my first full week of work for awhile, it was hard to get through.
I really wish I could fast forward by a month. Amanda is probably going to be here again in late August. That's probably all I'll be able to think about until then.
