Summary: Spike finds Willow’s puppy. A Christmas Fic Card for catvampcrazines.
Spike glanced over at the figure on the floor. It was whining and writhing in pain. He snorted and flicked his cigarette at it, noting the lack of response.
Looking around, he stepped closer to the door, kneeling down to look at the locking mechanisms within. He grunted and stood; reaching into his coat pocket and pulling out a set of lock pick tools.
A few minutes of manipulation, his movements stopping every so often as he listened for sounds around him, and Spike had the door open. The tools found their way back into his pocket and he moved forward, jerking at the chains that bound the prone figure.
He ignored the wounds, the seeping blood, the scent of rotting flesh, and focused entirely on his objective. One the chains were free, Spike rolled the figure over, kneeling down and touching a once beloved face.
“Angelus…”
