so christmas was good. i got some cool stuff, like a new super sleek camera, some books, and cool shoes from my dad, lots of socks and clothes and gift certificates and such from my mom, some cds, a dvd, and a record player from dave. goooood stuff. the day itself was fun too, except my mom is so ridiculous that it is hysterical. we woke up on christmas morning, did stockings - (OH! so we all get a stocking and a couple presents from "santa" or whoever near them, and i got a pack of maxi-pads called Julie! how funny can you get! but, back to story) - i gave everyone my gifts, then we broke for breakfast, since it was christmas morning, and my mom didn't have barely anything wrapped. so, hour or so long break to eat/have my mom wrap things, then we opened some more presents. i went over to dave's around 3 or so, ate lunch with them, then went back to my house for dinner, then went to my dads, then came home and opened MORE presents from my mom who needed the break to finish wrapping everything. that was a terribly unclear sentence, and for that, i'm really sorry. but, it never felt incredibly like christmas, but it was a good day so i don't really care.
somehow i managed to sleep in until 1 today? it was insane, and i had this really weird dream where someone who looked like brittany thompson(but wasn't) was trying to steal me and alex nelson's identities(or somehting like that) in a deep space hotel... i don't know, it was incredibly fucked up.
at any rate, sorry for talking about college, but it's whats really on my mind right now, so here goes: syracuse is my only jan. 1 deadline, which is a monday and a holiday, so post offices are closed. sunday, post offices are clsoed, and saturday post offices are only open until 12, so pretty much, it needs to be done by friday. it's not as terrible as i thought it'd be though. i took an essay from my junior portfolio and played around with it, but it's still tacky as all get out. we'll see what happens though.
what's everyone doing for new years? i might go to a concert in newmarket with dave, but i don't know what else is happening. so come on you guys, fill me in!
