A new season is upon us! It's time to choose your Team Captains, the ones who will lead your Team MWPP to certain victory! Your Team Captain is like the ultimate friend, confidante, problem solver, and cheerleader who comes up with activity ideas, helps people along, answers questions, and is always there to talk to. They might be an Artist an Author or even a Pinch Hitter. They might be someone you've known for years or someone you just met in this community. This could be their first Games or their fifth. They are the person you would seek out when you are stuck artistically or just feeling down, the go-to friend for advice and support. Even the Mods might check with the Captains to check the pulse of Team MWPP. In other words, your Captains are the people who be there throughout the seasons to support Team MWPP through any kind of weather.
In the past, we’ve had Teams with a single Captain who handled everything and Teams with a team of Captains who worked together to make things run fun and smoothly.
Between now and 11:59PM on Friday, June 28th you may nominate yourself or another person (more than one person, in fact) by commenting to this post with at least a single sentence describing why your nominee should be the Team Captain.
For Example:
I nominate Hermione Granger because she is smart, organized, and funny. She’s bossy and we’ll keep us all in line should we drift off subject in discussions. Besides, we all know she's secretly a fangirl.
or
I nominate Cassandra Trelawney because she once helped me out of a tough spot grammatically, and she knows all about adverbs. Plus, she has an amazing collection of scarves that she’ll let us all borrow if we’re good.
All comments to this post are screened and will be collected by the Mods for use in the future Voting Post. All nominees will be notified by Saturday, June 29th and will have a chance to accept or decline their nomination before the Voting Post goes up.
