TWICE! And in the same month too.
Things have happened and been put on hold at work. And yes, I am so uninteresting now that I pretty much post about work and nothing else. TA FREAKIN DA
Pam was fired mid-friday. Wheeee! I'm all for getting rid of dead weight, but I can't stand her replacement. That person being Kathy C. She worked in the restaurant before as a hostess/supervisor/whatever and then moved to banquets. She was promoted fairly recently in said banquets but became our assistant manager this past week. Therefore giving Kelly a more valid sounding reason than "Pam, you suck at your job and nobody wants to work with you." I believe he used "Kathy is here now so we no longer have a need for an AM host." Kathy is pretty good at what she does even after being away from the dinning room for a while. I just can't stand working with her. Couple this with the fact that I can't stand to work with Cindy, someone nearly as toxic a personality as Pam, and I don't think I'll be in this position for much longer. HOWEVER dot dot dot, me moving in the hotel truely depends on Brad(the GM) and Mr. D(the regional Manager) figuring out who's penis is longer and whether or not we really need a bloody panel interview for the job I want/need/should be doing. Once again, I should know something by friday. I need to tell Bill(front desk manager) that after thinking about it, things would make more sense if I took his suggestion of moving to the front desk if I get the part time experience specialist job. I like to think that my consistant interest in "what the hell is taking so long?" comes off as "she really wants the job" and not "get her out of my face!"
EDIT: I totally forgot to mention that I can't stop listening to Wolfmother and that we had some pretty yummy Indian food this weekend :D
