Who's your Nemesis?

Now that's how you cut together a battle scene. None of this suspense-cutting nonsense The Phantom Menace engaged in.

Overall, I was highly impressed. I thought it was a great movie. The one major flaw was the treatment of the Viceroy's ability to connect with Deanna. It needed more development to really integrate it into the plot.

I loved the parallels between Data and B-4 and Picard and Shinzon. I thought it was a fascinating treatment of the issue of an imperfect copy. Not to mention the parallel of Data deactivating B-4 "indefinitely" with Picard running Shinzon through.

There are definitely some weird sexual currents going on in the movie. There's the obsession Shinzon and the Viceroy have with Deanna. There's the scene between Shinzon and Donatra. Then there's the weird sexual tension between Shinzon and Picard--don't tell me you didn't see it. And then there's Shinzon and the Viceroy. Surely I'm not the only one who thought that the Viceroy's protection and caring in the mines came with a price paid by Shinzon's flesh.

While not strictly sexual, there is also Data's complete and total devotion to Picard, which is perhaps the most touching relationship I've ever seen in a movie.
