Thank you so much. I'm glad you liked it, even if it was sad.

Awww...that was rather bittersweet. But at the same time it felt really uplifting, the sense that Harry would always have the love of Sirius and Remus, and he could then pass the stories on to Teddy. I love how the notes traced the progress of Sirius's and Remus's relationship, from the days after the prank, to when they moved in together, and to the idea of forming a family, together. The final note was especially heartbreaking - I do wish Harry had thought to share it with Teddy, it is a part of Teddy's history after all.

Overall though, this was very sweet. Lovely! ♥

Thank you!

To me, both Sirius and Remus would always have a special place in Harry's heart. And that was why they were there with James and Lily in the end of DH. I'd like to think that Teddy would go to Harry when he wanted to know a bit more about his father.

I don't know if I'd have shared that last note with Teddy if I was in Harry's shoes. It was already a shock knowing his father loved another man, but that note would mean he was still in love with said man while he was married to his mother. Maybe you're right, though and he'd want to know anyway...

***BIG HUGS!!!***

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!!! I can't believe you wove in all the prompts: sharing books, Sirius having a coat for Remus to make sure he's not cold, sharing a kitty kat, my grin just got bigger and bigger...SOOOO AWESOME!

The story is so bittersweet...a flavor I find DELICIOUS!!!

Some favorites:
What caught Harry’s attention, however, was Teddy’s light brown hair, so like Remus's; it was always a sign that he was a little melancholy about his parents.
Wow. I can totally see this as a poignant way that a metamorphmagi's emotions would influence their appearance.

"Can you believe this git, Moony? I bet he never saw a real vampire or he wouldn't think they were that sexy. If they asked me I could tell with authority that werewolves are the sexy ones."
Yay, Sirius! With authority, indeed.

No matter how many notes they had exchanged, Remus still wasn't used to compliments.
Oh, Remus.

The only thing he wanted was to soak in a bath and sleep for ten hours. At least that was what he thought he wanted. and Remus ( ... )

P.S. I love the title, too. It can be interpreted in so many ways.

Awww, thank you so much, hon. I'm so thrilled that you liked it this much!!! I wasn't sure if you'd like a next generation fic, but as soon as I had the idea of them exchanging notes through the books, and Teddy finding them, I had to write it. I'm so glad it worked for you.

And thank you also for the well wishes. I hope your new year started wonderfully. Happy 2010!

this is beautifully done :) I like seeing the next gen/Harry's gen in R/S fics, it adds an interesting dimension.

Thank you! I haven't read many next generation fics, but when I do it's always about Teddy finding out about Remus/Sirius. :)

Thank you so much. When I picked this prompt (R/S sharing books) I wanted to do something a little different than them having a shelf with books they both enjoyed, and this was what I came up with. I'm so glad it worked.
